Easter and spring are such cheerful times of the year. The colors, the fun ideas, warmer weather, and longer days. This Easter and Spring round-up features ideas you’ll make for Easter and Mother’s Day brunch, birthday celebrations, and more all season long.
Spring is in the air and I just love all the pretty pastel colors and bright flavors of the season.
Pastel M&M’s for cookies and bars, bunny bait (Chex mix variety), pretty sprinkles for fudge, plus all the lemon recipes! Lemon just means spring for me. It adds bright flavor to anything like cakes, cupcakes, and sorbet.
Some of my personal favorites in this Easter and Spring round-up include the daisy shortbread cookies, the bunny cinnamon rolls, and the coconut cake.
The coconut cake is a family favorite and is a recipe I got from my Mom, many MANY years ago. She made it every Easter and now I do too. Be sure to check out the recipe, you won’t believe how easy it is. Plus, because it’s 3 layers, it’s a showstopper.
The fun strawberry “carrots” are an easy recipe the kids can get involved with to help make. Another fun recipe that will be a hit is this Peeps Shortbread Checkerboard from my friend Jolene’s Recipe Journal
Daisy Shortbread Cookies
Daisy shortbread cookies are perfect for wedding showers, baby showers and to welcome spring.
If you want a show-stopper of a cake, look no more! This three-layer rave review coconut cake is a taste of the tropics. Jam-packed with coconut and pecans you'll be making this cake for years to come.
This is such a great round up! I’m a bit late starting with the Easter baking this year as we just got back from holiday, but there are some great, cute and tasty ideas here!
What a fun roundup! I can’t believe Easter is around the corner so thanks for the inspiration!
So many fabulous ideas! This makes me so excited for spring!
I just bookmarked this page. I need to come back for the sweet treats. For now, I am starting with the lemon blueberry loaf — cannot wait!
Thank you for this post. 🙂

Thanks for these Easter/Spring ideas to get me in a festive mode. Will definitely try the “no bake bird’s nest cookies.”
