I love coffee. I also love cinnamon coffee. Vanilla coffee too. I put cream in my coffee. Why not combine them all for a homemade cinnamon vanilla coffee creamer? Plus I can save money!
So you’re probably wondering why Madagascar bourbon vanilla and Vietnamese cinnamon. Quite simply, they are really good ingredients. Nielsen Massey Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla is creamy, sweet and mellow, making it perfect for a creamer. The flavor of Vietnamese cinnamon just pops. It gives things through and through cinnamon flavor.
As I’ve said in other posts, use the best quality ingredients you can afford. When Nielsen Massey contacted me and offered the vanilla I knew I wanted a recipe were the vanilla would shine, like this coffee creamer. Not buried in a baked good, though many crossed my mind.
Now, you may notice that there is no sweetened condensed milk in my creamer version. Many you find it included in others around the web. I deliberately chose not to add it because I don’t like sugar in my coffee. It’s that simple. If you like sugar in your coffee, add it to taste after the creamer. If you’re somewhat adventurous make a double or triple batch and use it for making French toast. Do you enjoy other coffee drinks? Why not try my caramel coffee.

I love Nielsen Massey! It’s by far my favorite vanilla I’ve tried. I’ll definitely have to whip up some of this creamer. Sounds amazing!
I just bought the same vanilla extract so can’t wait to give this recipe a go!
I’ve never even thought of making my own coffee creamer, what a great idea! Love the vietnamese cinnamon you used 🙂
I love this idea and those flavors sound amazing! Can’t wait to give this a try!
This is a brilliant idea. I cant tell you how much of this store bought we go through thank you!
Can’t wait to try this coffee creamer! Love the flavors going on!
I love the way how you simplify your cinnamon vanilla coffee with a homemade creamer. This must taste super delicious.
I’m with you. I don’t like sugar in my coffee. Bourbon, on the other hand, I can handle. lol. This looks like a great creamer recipe and I appreciate the share!
Mmm. That looks and sounds delicious! I don’t like sugar in my creamer either so, it’s perfect that you didn’t add sweetened condensed milk!
Wow. This sounds perfect. I usually just use half & half in my coffee and never thought about those additions for a treat. Will be giving this a try.
I’ve never made coffee creamer at home but this recipe looks delicious!! I love cinnamon and vanilla!
Ellen, now *this* is more like it! I don’t like sugar in my coffee, so your version with half and half is much more to my liking. I always turn down vanilla flavored coffee drinks because it’s usually artificial vanilla. Your creamer with real cream and real high-quality vanilla and cinnamon is a whole ‘nother matter!
