You need three ingredients and all of them are readily available. It’s really easy to make this TikTok sensation recipe.
- Pillsbury Grands cinnamon rolls, or any brand you can unroll – One can of cinnamon rolls will make 5 cinnamon roll Christmas trees.
- Green Food Coloring – to make green icing. Add a few drops of green food coloring to the icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls. I use Americolor leaf green.
- Christmas Sprinkles – for sprinkling on top of the icing to look like ornaments.

How do you store leftover cinnamon rolls?
Store any leftover Christmas tree cinnamon rolls in the refrigerator for 2 – 3 days. To reheat the cinnamon rolls, place on a baking pan and loosely cover with foil. Reheat in an oven or toaster oven at 300ยฐF for about 7-8 minutes until warmed through.

Cinnamon Roll Christmas Trees
Ingredients
- 2 cans 17.5 ounce Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls
- Green Food Coloring
- Christmas Sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350โ. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. Set aside.
- Open one can of Grands cinnamon rolls and separate the rolls from each other so you have 5 rolls. Set the icing aside.2 cans 17.5 ounce Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls
- Unroll one at a time and weave it back and forth on the baking pan to create a tree shape. Use the end of the cinnamon roll to form a tree trunk. Make sure the tree layers are close together, like the photograph. Repeat with the second can of cinnamon rolls. If any cinnamon filling comes out, add it back on top of any of the trees.
- Bake for 23 to 27 minutes according to the package. While the cinnamon roll trees bake, color each of the icing cups green with one or two drops of food coloring. Mix well until there are no white streaks.Green Food Coloring
- Remove the cinnamon rolls from the oven and spread icing on each roll, sprinkling with Christmas sprinkles as you go. The icing sets quickly so you should add the sprinkles right away.Christmas Sprinkles
