Course: Breakfast
Cuisine: American
Servings: 5 2 rolls each

Ingredients

  • 2 cans 17.5 ounce Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls
  • Green Food Coloring
  • Christmas Sprinkles

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350℉. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. Set aside.
  • Open one can of Grands cinnamon rolls and separate the rolls from each other so you have 5 rolls. Set the icing aside.

  • Unroll one at a time and weave it back and forth on the baking pan to create a tree shape. Use the end of the cinnamon roll to form a tree trunk. Make sure the tree layers are close together, like the photograph. Repeat with the second can of cinnamon rolls. If any cinnamon filling comes out, add it back on top of any of the trees.
  • Bake for 23 to 27 minutes according to the package. While the cinnamon roll trees bake, color each of the icing cups green with one or two drops of food coloring. Mix well until there are no white streaks.

  • Remove the cinnamon rolls from the oven and spread icing on each roll, sprinkling with Christmas sprinkles as you go. The icing sets quickly so you should add the sprinkles right away.
