I know more than a few chocolate lovers and my double chocolate fudge cake is very popular. So I decided we needed to take chocolate to the next level and make a triple chocolate cake.

Ingredients for Triple Chocolate Cake
All you need are simple ingredients for this delicious recipe.
For the cake:
- Devil’s Food Box Cake Mix
- Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix
- Large Eggs
- Water
- Vegetable Oil – Canola oil could also be used.
- Pure Vanilla Extract
- Semi-Sweet or Milk Chocolate Chips – You could even use a mix of both types of chips.
For the glaze:
- Sugar
- Milk
- Butter
- Semi-Sweet or Milk Chocolate Chips
- Pure Vanilla Extract
Equipment
- Bundt Pan – I have a big collection of bundt pans but I used this one from Nordic Ware.
- Electric Mixer – Either a stand mixer or hand mixer will do the job.
- Measuring Cups and Spoons
- Wire Rack
- Medium Saucepan

How Do You Serve a Chocolate Bundt Cake?
This cake is rich so if you slice small pieces it serves 14 to 16 people making it perfect for a backyard barbecue or potluck party. Garnish this cake with fresh raspberries, strawberries, or white chocolate curls. Serve it with a scoop of ice cream if desired. If you prefer to omit the chocolate glaze, just dust the cake with a sprinkling of powdered sugar.

Easy Triple Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 1 13.25 ounce Devil's food cake mix
- 1 3.4 ounce package chocolate instant pudding mix 4-serving size
- 4 large eggs
- 1 ¼ cups water
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Chocolate Glaze, optional
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ cup milk
- 3 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
For the cake:
- Preheat oven to 350℉.
- Beat cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, oil and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
- Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into greased and floured 12-cup Bundt pan.
- Bake in preheated 350℉ oven for 50 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Invert cake onto wire rack. Cool completely.
For the glaze:
- Mix sugar, milk and butter in small saucepan on medium heat. Stirring constantly on medium heat, bring to a boil and boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips and vanilla extract until chips are melted. Drizzle glaze over cooled cake.
