How do you keep burgers from drying out?

  • Don’t overwork the ground beef when mixing it and making the patties.

Why use Colby Jack cheese?

Colby Jack is a blend of Colby and Monterey Jack cheeses. It’s a mild and creamy flavor that melts smoothly over hot burgers without overpowering the beef.

How do you serve Colby Jack Pub Burgers?

I know my family can’t be the only ones out there that goes simple when it comes to burgers. Colby Jack cheeseburgers are a favorite because it’s one of our favorite cheeses. I like to serve these burgers with diner-style potatoes, baked sweet potato fries, broccoli salad, easy baked beans, and coleslaw.

Serve Colby Jack cheeseburgers for backyard parties, casual celebrations, tailgate parties (can you say burger bar), weekends at the lake, or an easy weeknight dinner.

More Burger Recipes

We also like French onion burgers, but this cheeseburger hobo dinner packet is very easy too. Mushroom Swiss burgers are another popular pub menu item, but if you’re looking for something a little different, try Hawaiian burgers.

Yes! Use a flat griddle pan, grill pan, or cast iron skillet for a flavorful crust on these Colby Jack cheeseburgers.

What is the best ground beef for burgers?

An 80/20 ground beef blend (80% lean, 20% fat) will result in a balance of flavor and juciness.

Make the burger patties ahead and refrigerate them until ready to grill them. Let them come to room temperature before cooking.
