Your sweetheart will be all smiles when you present this white chocolate Valentine bark for Valentine’s Day.

White chocolate Valentine bark. When my boys were younger, they are 13 and 14 now, I bought small metal red, pink and white mailboxes in the dollar section at Target. We decorated them with hearts and names, all those years ago. Every year, at the beginning of February I set them out on a hall table and we take turns leaving surprises with the flag up so the recipient knows there’s mail. We leave things like a Hershey kiss, notes for a hug or 15 minutes later on bedtime. or treats like this white chocolate Valentine bark. I also wrapped up some of the chocolate nonpareil drops for a treat.

The white chocolate Valentine bark is super easy to make and it is fun for kids to help. You do need to work quickly so the candies don’t set before your finished decorating. I used what some refer to as almond bark.

I’ve always found that name funny because there are no almonds, it’s just candy. The brand I found was candy quik. It comes in a microwave tray and is easy to use. I chose to use the Wilton bright pink candy melts rather than pink or red. The bright pink just seemed better suited to the holiday.

The sugars give the candy sparkle and while I used pink and purple, white, silver or red would also be lovely. And, I had to include Valentine sprinkles because who doesn’t love sprinkles?

White Chocolate Valentine Bark ready for gift giving.Whenever I make candy, including these chocolate mixed nut clusters that were so popular during the holidays, I love to wrap some up as gifts. I shared some with my girlfriend who, in turn, shared with her daughter. Her daughter described the candy as a taste of heaven.
