As the nights get cooler and the leaves begin to change, fall settles into the air. It must mean it’s apple season! Apples are one of my family’s favorite fruits. Even though you can get them year round, they just seem tastier in the fall. Wouldn’t you agree?
I love all of the apple recipes on my blog, otherwise they wouldn’t be here. I just want to point out a couple of my absolute favorites – my Mom’s out of this world apple cake, her prairie apple crunch, and apple banana streusel bread. Just look at that topping.
I remember growing up you could only get apples in the fall. They weren’t available year round like they are now. Even though you can get some apple varieties all year, I still really only make apple recipes in the fall. Any one of these recipes in this round up would be delicious any time of year.
Celebrate Apples
Apples are a fall staple and a fall fruit that is popular with many. Enjoy these delicious recipes.

My cinnamon apple turnover with maple glaze is a treat the whole family will love.
Apple Upside Down Cake
A soft and moist cinnamon spiced cake layered with apples and topped with a brown sugar glaze. A yummy and fun twist on the classic pineapple upside down cake, with tips on making yours foolproof.
Granny Smith Pizza
I wanted to recreate a pizza that I get at a local restaurant that I absolutely love.
Mini Apple Muffins with Oatmeal Streusel Topping • Family Around the Table
Who doesn’t like mini versions of things? It seems like you can eat just a few more than if they were regular size.
Applesauce Nut Bread
Applesauce nut bread has traditionally been a fall favorite in my family for years. The bread itself is nicely moist with a good amount of spice and add-ins.
Apple Streusel Muffins
Apple streusel muffins are the perfect way to start out your day. They are loaded with flavor and the small apple chunks, make these delicious apple streusel muffins very moist.
Apple cream pie with oatmeal crust
A mix of tart and sweet apples are wrapped in cream, vanilla, and cinnamon and baked in a crust that tastes like a big oatmeal cookie in this delicious autumn dessert.
