A Collection of Pies to Celebrate Pi Day
Mathematicians around the world are gearing up for their day. I’ve assembled this collection of pies to celebrate Pi Day. But these treats are suitable for any occasion, not just Pi day.
Ah…Pi Day. The day we celebrate the irrational number 3.14 (and beyond). Pi is a lot of things including the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter and an infinite decimal.
Pie on the other hand can be sweet or savory. Savory versions include shepherd’s pie and chicken pot pie.
Sweet pies range from fruit versions like cherry, blueberry or peach to nut pies like pecan but also include sweet potato and chocolate.
