Chocolate Butterscotch Cookies
Chocolate and butterscotch come together as a delicious combination in these Chocolate Butterscotch Cookies. This semi-homemade treat starts with a rich chocolate cookie dough packed with butterscotch chips that’s perfect for holiday trays, cookie exchanges, or just filling the cookie jar for the week. No one will believe they start with a cake mix.

I had a package of butterscotch chips in the pantry, and since my family loved these butterscotch pecan cookies I made for the 12 Days of Christmas Cookies in 2024, I wanted to make a decadent treat. It was the inspiration for this chocolate and butterscotch cookie.
