Strawberry Vanilla Smoothie
A great way to start your day is with a strawberry vanilla smoothie made with vanilla yogurt and fresh Florida strawberries. Easily whip up this smoothie in your blender any day of the week. Made with just a few ingredients you may even have on hand, in your refrigerator.
Packed with vitamins, including vitamin C, folate, iodine, and dietary fiber the strawberries combined with the protein of the milk and vanilla yogurt make this smoothie a good choice for a mid-morning snack or to accompany breakfast or lunch. No need for extra sugar in this recipe. The sweetness of the strawberries and the sugar already in the yogurt combine for the perfect taste. IF the strawberries are on the tart side, before serving, taste the mixture and add a small amount of powdered sugar at a time, to taste. It will combine better and there’s no potential for a grainy smoothie. Remember, you can always add more sugar but you can’t take any away.
