Food Wine Conference, affectionately called FWCon, is rapidly approaching! Like last year I have once again been chosen to be a brand ambassador. I’m anxiously awaiting my brand assignment so follow my social media channels to find to find out who I’ll be working with this year and to have a front row seat to the conference. I’ll be posting photos and all the happenings. Links to my social media are below. Last year I was assigned Certified Angus Beef.
There’s a big line up of informative sessions plus one new, big feature for restauranteurs, chefs, retailers, food and beverage brands and PR marketing managers. It’s called FSSM, short for Food Service Social Media bootcamp with sessions designed for those professionals. Those sessions will prove to be exciting for that industry.
Returning sponsors include CK Mondavi Wines, Certified Angus Beef, Florida Strawberry Growers Association, Wish Farms, Famous Idaho Potatoes, Florida Dairy Farmers, and among new sponsors is Mann’s Fresh Vegetables.
Speakers include chef, restauranteur, and cookbook author Ina Pinkney, Food Fanatics founder Denise Vivaldo, social media expert Amanda Rettke, and CMO Peter Horst, one of the three keynote featured speakers.
Also, like last year, the FWCon is being held at the posh Rosen Shingle Creek, also a sponsor of the weekend. As a relative local, living close to the Orlando area, I can tell you it’s one of the top properties in the Orlando area conveniently located to the major theme parks and I-Drive. Golfers will love the beautiful, sprawling golf course. After hitting the links, relax by one of the glorious pools.
By this time next month, Food Wine Conference will be over so register soon! The link to register and get the weekend session lineup and information is here. Use the promo code EllenF2017 to receive $50 off your conference ticket. You can also book your hotel room at the Rosen Shingle Creek on the FWCon website.
Disclosure: As a Brand Ambassador I received a discounted ticket to the conference.
