Ingredients

  • 1 box 15.25oz white cake mix
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups Oreo cookies, crushed about 15 cookies
  • ¾ cup Red, white, and blue M&M candies plus more for the top of the cookies
  • ½ cup Red, white, and blue Sprinkles plus more for the top of the cookies

Instructions

  • Using a hand or stand mixer, combine the cake mix, butter, large egg, vanilla extract, and cream cheese until a soft dough forms and ingredients are incorporated.
1 box 15.25oz white cake mix, 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened, 1 large egg, 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract, 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • Using a rubber spatula, gently stir in the Oreo cookie chunks, M&Ms, and sprinkles.
2 cups Oreo cookies, crushed, ¾ cup Red, white, and blue M&M candies, ½ cup Red, white, and blue Sprinkles
  • Cover and refrigerate the cookie dough for at least 30 minutes and up to 2 days.
  • When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 350℉. Line two rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
  • Use a cookie scoop to make the dough balls. Place them about 1½ inches apart on the prepared baking pans.
  • Bake at 350℉ for 12 to 15 minutes until the center is set and the edges of the cookie are golden. Remove from oven and allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
  • Once cookies are completely cooled, store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
