Individual Apple Crisps

A wonderful fall dessert.

  • Le Creuset Cocottes

Ingredients

  • 2 medium apples peeled and sliced
  • 4 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 8 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoon butter plus more for buttering dishes
  • 8 tablespoons quick-cooking oats
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Vanilla or Cinnamon Ice Cream optional

Instructions

  • Place apple slices in a small greased baking dish. In a small bowl, combine flour and brown sugar; cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Add oats and cinnamon. Sprinkle over apple slices.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 350℉ for 30-40 minutes or until tender. Serve with ice cream if desired.
