Glazed Cherry Cheese Danish

Ingredients

  • 1 tube 8 ounces refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 4 tablespoons cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • To make glaze:
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 4 teaspoons half and half
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°. Line a rimmed baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper. Set aside.
  • Carefully separate crescent dough into four rectangles. Place on a silicone baking mat or parchment paper lined baking sheet; seal perforations. Using an offset spreader, spread 1 tablespoon cream cheese onto each rectangle. Top each with 1/4 cup cherry pie filling.
  • Bake for 12 - 15 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes. Glaze while danish is warm.

To make glaze:

  • In a bowl combine confectioners' sugar, half and half and pure vanilla extract. Whisk until drizzling consistency.
