Homemade Ginger Sugar

With just two simple ingredients, you can have ginger infused sugar to use yourself or gift to others.

  • 1 Pint Size Mason Jar

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Crystallized Ginger, chopped
  • 1 cup Sugar

Instructions

  • In a glass jar, combine the granulated sugar and crystallized ginger. Using a spoon stir the sugar and ginger pieces to incorporate them into the sugar. Cover tightly.
    1 cup Sugar, ¼ cup Crystallized Ginger, chopped
  • Allow flavors to combine for 7 - 10 days before using or longer for a more intense flavor. Open the jar and stir daily. Us as desired.

Notes

For stronger ginger sugar, use more ginger.
