Servings: 2
- 2 1/2 cups of vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 cup of whole milk
- 2 cups fresh strawberries halved
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
For the Decoration
- 1/2 cup quality white chocolate chips I use Ghirardelli
- 1/4 teaspoon vegetable shortening
- Red sprinkles
- Whipped Cream (I used Reddi Whip)
Before you want to make the milkshakes, melt the white chocolate chips and shortening according to the package directions.
Using a small spatula, evenly smear the white chocolate onto the milkshake glass and spoon sprinkles onto the chocolate before it sets. Do one glass at a time. Work quickly before it sets.
Allow to set for a minimum of 10 minutes. You can chill if you want.
In a blender, combine the ice cream, milk, halved strawberries, and vanilla extract.
Blend until smooth and creamy. Serve immediately.
