Ingredients

  • cup Dixie Crystals light brown sugar
  • cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 Tablespoons Taylor & Colledge vanilla bean paste
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup canola oil
  • 4 ½ cups Flahavan's Irish Rolled-Oats
  • 1 ½ cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup large pecan pieces

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 325℉. Line an 18.5" x 14.5" rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • 2. In a large bowl whisk together the brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla bean paste, canola oil and salt.
  • 3. Using a wooden spoon or rubber spatula, gently stir in oats, chocolate chips and pecans, making sure everything is coated.
  • 4. Pour the oat mixture onto the baking sheet and spread into an even layer. Gently press the mixture so it stays together.
  • 5. Bake 20 - 25 minutes until top begins to brown and mixture is fragrant. Remove the pan from the oven and allow to cool completely before breaking it up. Store in a covered container for up to one week. Package into goodie bags just before giving.

Notes

The serving size is 2 ounces or 1/4 cup.
