I love to make food gifts for family, friends, teachers, our orthodontist, you name it, during the holidays. I’ve made many over the years and just about anything can be a food gift. Cookies, candies, nut clusters, baking mixes where the recipient adds a few ingredients, mini bread loafs and even cakes.
Each year I make a list of who I want to make goodies for then set out to make a list of what I want to make. This years list includes some mini bread loaves, chocolate dipped pretzels and marshmallows, a few coffee cakes (for offices) and cookie trays, of course.
Need more ideas?
Some things I’m made in the past include my chocolate mixed nut clusters, white chocolate cranberry popcorn, homemade cinnamon vanilla coffee creamer and white chocolate orange pecan scones, just to mention a few.
Gifts from the Kitchen
Homemade Limoncello & Tangelocello
Limoncello (and its cousins) is wonderful by itself as an after dinner digestivo.
White Chocolate Cranberry Popcorn
This white chocolate cranberry popcorn. It’s perfect for movie night, party favors, a hostess gift or to tuck in holiday gift tins.
Churro Chex Mix
Give a homemade snack for the holidays this year. Sweet, sugar-cinnamon Chex Mix will be a winner with kids and adults alike.
Hazelnut Hot Chocolate Drops
Hazelnut hot chocolate drops are great to have on hand when company comes to visit. Or just make a couple of different batches in different flavors.
Whipped Cinnamon Honey Butter
Whipped Cinnamon Honey Butter takes your bread, biscuits, muffins, and rolls to the next level! It also makes a perfect edible food gift for the holidays!
homemade gifts: caramel pecan brownie mix in a jar
These Caramel Pecan Brownies are a delicious treat that’s fast and easy to whip up! Make them for your family, or pack up a sweet jar of the brownie mix for friends and neighbors. It makes a perfect gift!
Honey Lemon Spoons
Honey-Lemon Spoons. The perfect gift for a tea lover!
Homemade Vanilla Bean Marshmallows
Homemade marshmallows only require a few ingredients, however a candy thermometer is a must, as is a stand mixer.
Spicy Pretzels
I loved the spiciness of these – they give you a nice kick at the end of each bite. I used holiday-shaped pretzels to make them a little more festive.

I like your idea of homemade coffee creamer. I need to try that - even if I don't gift it, my husband would love it. Thanks for hosting this linkup!
