Dinner menu ideas week 6 brings more comfort food for those areas of the country that are still experiencing chilly weather as well as a touch of spring with desserts made with berries.

The focus this week is on spring including vegetables and flavors. As always there’s a variety of mains and sides with a couple of desserts thrown in and a yummy smoothie.

Collage of recipes in the week 6 menu plan.

The Parmesan asparagus is an easy recipe. Asparagus season is just around the corner, and it’s featured in my supermarket ad this week. If it’s not in your area yet, it will be soon.

So because it’s in my ad, it will be on my menu this week. Remember, always check your ads, and even ads from more than one store.

Beyond checking ads, make a list! The most efficient way to shop, and stay on budget, is to make a list. What I really love about lists is pretty list paper. Check out lots of notepad ideas for everyone.

You may even want to get extra list pads for friends, kids, and even teacher gifts. Find what works for you. A notepad that you check off staples that you need or a magnetic one for the fridge with lines that everyone can add what they need.

As always mix and match these easy dinner menu ideas week 6 with previous weeks. Find past posts here:

    Easy Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas

Easy Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas are super scrumptious, super easy, and almost everything comes from your pantry. The chicken can either be canned or leftover roasted chicken.

    Individual Chicken Pot Pies

This recipe uses one of my favorite ingredients, puff pastry, for the crust. I used bone-in chicken breasts because I think they are more flavorful.

She was from Italy and a very good cook so I come by my love of cooking naturally. My Mom inherited her cooking skills too.
