Christmas menu planning doesn’t have to stressful. These recipes take the stress out of the meal.

As in previous dinner menus, I’ve partnered with my friends Hezzi-D’s Books and Cooks and A Kitchen Hoor’s Adventures to bring you fresh ideas for your holiday table.

Cornish hens are the often forgotten about poultry. Honestly, they are readily available and easy to prepare. Plus the presentation is fun as well.

Prime rib is a favorite entree for the holidays and it’s often on sale at your local market during the season.

Some people prefer traditional sides but many of those take up coveted oven space. While a couple of the ones I included from my friends need oven time, the green beans do not.

Plus, the Cornish hens recipe includes a vegetable side built right in. See I told you these easy dinner menu ideas Christmas edition would be special.

Then there’s dessert. Snickerdoodles are a family favorite and a classic holiday cookie. My coconut cake is a recipe I got from my Mom.

She made it often and it’s one of my all time favorite cakes. Plus it starts with a cake mix that you doctor up.

It’s a showstopper for sure! When I serve it my guests are always impressed yet they have no idea just how easy it is to make.

As always, in addition to these easy dinner menu ideas Christmas Edition check out of all my dinner menu plans for more ideas.
