Salted Caramel Toffee Martini is a festive drink for any holiday party.

Welcome to #ChristmasSweetsWeek! I know…more sweets after a week of Christmas cookies but it is that time of year. I promise, there will be some non-sweet recipes sprinkled in the mix.

But first, a holiday cocktail to kick off the week and celebrate the season. The ingredients in this adult beverage are some of my favorites. I’ll be honest, I’ve never used Torani syrups but when I received the salted caramel, I knew I wanted to use it in this cocktail.

I opened the seal and top to the salted caramel flavored syrup and smelled it. What a delightful aroma. exactly like caramel with a hint of salt. I can think of so many delicious ways to use it.

But let me tell you about my salted caramel toffee martini that I served in my new glassware from Joy Jolt. About the ingredients I mentioned earlier. I used a good vodka, chocolate liqueur and the Torani salted caramel flavored syrup. I served them in a chocolate toffee rimmed martini glass. The recipe below makes 2 servings but it’s easily doubled for more.

Rimming the Joy Jolt Afina martini glasses with melted chocolate and toffee bits adds a very special touch not only to the glass but to the drink as well. It’s a very easy technique and makes for an impressive presentation. Make sure there is room in your freezer to let them set.

I love the Joy Jolt Afina martini glasses because they are the classic martini shape but have an updated style. These are not your traditional stemmed martini glasses that are easy to tip over. They are short but not top heavy.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces vodka
  • 2 ounces chocolate liqueur
  • 1 1/2 ounces Torani Salted Caramel Syrup
  • 2 chocolate dipped toffee rimmed glasses see below

Instructions

  • Prepare martini glasses as described below.
  • In a cocktail shaker filled with ice combine vodka, chocolate liqueur and Torani salted caramel syrup. Shake to mix and strain into prepared martini glasses. Serve cold.

Recipe Notes

To make the chocolate toffee-rimmed martini glasses: Melt 1 cup of milk chocolate chips with 1/2 teaspoon of vegetable shortening. I do this in a microwave. Spread toffee bits on a wide plate. Dip the rim of the martini glass in melted chocolate and then sprinkle toffee over the glass. It's not necessary to cover the chocolate completely. Place glasses in the freezer until ready to serve, but at least 10 minutes until chocolate is set.

  1. My favorite Christmas cookie is Italian Rainbow cookies. They aren’t really a ‘Christmas Cookie’ per say but it’s my favorite special treat to have around Christmas <3 We used to make cute little Chocolate Covered Cherry Mice around Christmas but we haven't done that in the past 2 years, and I kind of miss them 🙁
